On the 15th January, our school received another special visitor: the mother of Jorge Carreira, student of the 11ºC. This visit is part of the class project in which “Experience never gets old.”
On this date, Mrs Laura Ramos participated in the morning classes of the 11ºC. Therefore, on the Transformation class she learnt to make condensed milk, peeled and stored kiwis for future uses. After, she participated in the English class in which she presented her own experience as the owner of a farm business in Arcos, Vila do Conde.
and now here’s a recipe to try ...
Ingredients
• 1L of whole milk
• 300g of sugar
Instructions
Mix the milk and sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Always stirring, bring to medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until the amount decreases to about half. Once reduced, remove from heat and beat with an electric mixer until the mixture is perfectly homogeneous. Store in previously sterilized bottles.
Good Experiences ...
