Nos dias 23, 24, e 25 do
passado mês de novembro, alguns alunos de Agropecuária, das turmas dos 2ºA, 2ºC
e 3ºC estiveram presentes na Feira Agrícola de Santa Catarina, em
Celorico de Basto.
Durante esse período
participaram nos “Agrojogos by epfcb” em que fizeram bastantes atividades,
dentro delas, perícia com trator, acoplamento do trator com a charrua,
identificação de sementes e folhas, entre outras. Destas resultaram dois
trofeus, um de 2º lugar, e um de participação. Durante a tarde de sábado, os
alunos divertiram-se também na garraiada.
No último dia da
feira, domingo, realizou-se o 6º concurso da raça Holstein Frísia de
Santa Catarina, no qual participamos com 4 novilhas da escola e as 4
receberam prémios. Nas jovens dos 6 aos 9 meses, a nossa novilha foi a 2ª
classificada; nas jovens dos 16 aos 20 meses, alcançamos o 3º lugar;
nas jovens de 10 aos 15 meses e dos 20 aos 25 meses, fomos os 5º classificados.

SANTA CATARINA’S ANNUAL FAIR
On the 23rd ,24th and 25th of last november, some
students from classes 2A, 2C and 3C were presente in the Santa Catarina’s
annual fair of agriculture.
The
students participated in the “Agrolympics” in which they did several
activities: tractor expertise, tractor and plow coupling, identification of
seeds and leaves, among many others. As a result of this, they received two
trophes: a second place and one of partipation. On Saturday afternoon, all the
students had loads of fun in the “garraiada”.
On
Sunday there was the 6th Holstein Frisian breed contest. All our animals
received prizes. In the heifers from 6 to 9 months, we got the second place; in
the heifers from 16 to 20 months, we reached the third place; finally, in the
heifers from 10 to 15 months and from 20 to 25 months, we got the 5th place on
both.
